Erin received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Alberta in 2014, and has practiced exclusively in family law since 2015. Erin has a people-centered approach to her practice, with an emphasis on high-conflict parenting situations. She is passionate about finding solutions for her clients that caters to their unique situation, as she strongly believes that family law is not as simple as “right” and “wrong”: Erin understands every family unit is different, and requires an approach that recognizes the personal circumstances of each member within that unit.
Erin is driven to finding solutions that last, and strongly believes that Alternative Dispute Resolution favours this approach. However, as a skilled divorce lawyer, she also understands that ADR requires the cooperation of both parties, which is not always possible, especially when emotions are running high. In the event litigation is necessary to move your matter to a resolution, Erin has extensive experience appearing in both the Provincial Court of Alberta, and the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench.
When not in the office, you can usually find Erin on her yoga mat, getting lost in the mountains, or travelling the world by bicycle with her family. As
